Payment and Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Lost and Found Concierge. By purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by the Payment Terms and Refund Policies outlined below.
Please review these terms carefully. They explain your rights and obligations regarding the specific membership tier you have selected.
1. Membership Tiers and Billing Terms
We offer two distinct membership options. The billing terms depend on which option you selected at checkout:
A. 60-Day Membership (Standard)
- Cost: $45.00 (One-Time Fee).
- Billing: This is a non-recurring charge billed once at the time of purchase.
- Duration: Service is valid for 60 days from the date of purchase.
- Renewal: This membership does not automatically renew.
B. Annual Membership (Subscription)
- Cost: $159.00 per year.
- Billing: Recurring subscription billed at purchase and automatically every 12 months thereafter.
- Duration: Service is valid for 365 days from the date of purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Renews automatically unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
2. Strict Refund Policy (Applies to ALL Plans)
To protect our business operations and the immediate labor invested in your case, we adhere to a strict refund window for both the 60-Day and Annual plans.
- The 24-Hour Window: Eligible for a full refund only if you email a cancellation request within 24 hours of the transaction (initial purchase or renewal).
- How to Request a Refund: Email support@lostandfoundconcierge.com with your Order Number.
- No Refunds After 24 Hours: No refunds will be issued once the 24-hour window closes.
- Outcome-Based Refunds: Dissatisfaction with search results does not constitute grounds for a refund.
3. Subscription Cancellation (Annual Plan Only)
If you hold an Annual Membership ($159), you may cancel the automatic renewal feature at any time to prevent future charges.
- Effect of Cancellation: Cancels the next scheduled charge but does not refund the current year (unless requested within 24 hours).
- Service Continuation: Service remains active until the end of the current 365-day billing cycle.
4. Scope of Services & No Guarantees
It is vital that you understand the nature of the service you are purchasing:
- We Are a Filing Service: You pay for the administrative convenience of having us file reports and contact custodians on your behalf.
- No Guarantees of Recovery: We are not a custodian, warehouse, or lost and found department. There is no guarantee your item will be found.
- No Affiliation: We are a private third-party service not affiliated with airlines, airports, TSA, theme parks, or other venues.
5. Shipping Fees
Our membership fees cover administrative assistance and filing services only.
- Fees Not Included: Shipping, customs, or storage fees charged by venues to return an item are not included.
- Responsibility: You are solely responsible for paying any shipping fees required to return a recovered item.
6. Dispute Resolution & Chargebacks
We take fraud and “friendly fraud” (invalid chargebacks) seriously. By purchasing our services, you agree:
- Binding Agreement: You agree not to file a credit card dispute on the basis that your item was not found.
- Proof of Service: Confirmation that claims were filed with relevant venues constitutes proof of service.
- Consequences: Frivolous disputes may result in immediate termination, a lifetime ban, and civil recovery.
