About Us

We created Lost and Found Concierge after managing L&F departments for some of the country's busiest airports.

We developed software to help them log missing items more than a decade ago. Technology helped, but there was still one major problem…lost and found was NOT a priority.

Travel providers literally can’t afford to adequately staff the departments, and the pandemic has only made things worse. After decades in the industry — and personally logging 2 million flight miles in our lifetime — we knew there had to be a better way.

We created a new platform that could instantly communicate with lost & found systems used across the US, and assembled a team with a combined 100 years experience …from hotel property management, airport transportation services, and airport security to airport and airline operations.

While it can seem like finding a needle in a haystack, LFC has a 90% recovery rate of claims.

  • Where are you located?

    We are a US based company, and our customer care team members work remotely. Due to the resurgence in travel, we ask that you contact us using the contact us form on our website. We respond to all customer inquiries promptly.

  • Why don’t you have a phone number?

    To keep our team focused on your case, we reserve our agent’s time on the phone exclusively for finding lost items. If you need to contact us, we promptly respond via email or chat during our business hours or the next business day.

  • What are the benefits of using Lost and Found Concierge?

    We offer a one-stop solution for retrieving lost items. Your first challenge is knowing where to report your item. If you were at the airport, do you report it to airport police, TSA or the airline? Second, it’s difficult to communicate with multiple entities, each with different lost and found procedures and policies. Using our AI analytic software, we can instantly notify ALL possible entities and consistently follow up.

  • Can’t I just do this myself?

    You can, but the sooner you report a lost item to the correct department, the higher your chances of getting it back. Trying to go it alone wastes precious time. Lost and found departments are often understaffed since the service does not generate revenue. Most people are bounced around to different departments, put on hold indefinitely, or otherwise ghosted.

  • How do I get started?

    Click here and spend a few minutes completing our Lost Item Report. Your search begins as soon as you pay the $49.00 Claim Reporting Fee.

  • What happens next?

    Once your Lost Item Report is complete, our state-of-the-art AI analytic software (GetafixAI) gets to work instantaneously analyzing your claim and sending it to the proper lost and found department. Since quite a few places do not have an on-line system, GetafixAI will alert our customer care team to handle the claim manually.

  • Will you provide updates?

    Absolutely! One of our agents will email you immediately after filing your claim (please contact us if you don’t receive it). You will also receive email updates about the status of your lost item or when any action is required on your part.

  • Do I get a refund if my item isn’t found or I change my mind ?

    Your claim fee covers the cost of our agent’s time spent searching for your item. We rely on local lost and found teams and due to the unpredictable nature of lost and found, we unfortunately cannot guarantee our services. We do not provides refunds.

  • How will I know when my item is found?

    Your agent will email you immediately and tell you the good news! They will include a link to an Automated Return Form, which you can fill out with your shipping information. Please note that shipping fees do apply.

  • How will I get my item back?

    Simply fill out the Return Form (or complete the return link) your agent emails you once your item is found. You can arrange for pick up or select a shipping option. Your item will ship to the address you provide, however delivery and transit time will be determined by the carrier. You will be asked to cover shipping and insurance fees (insurance is optional and may not be available at all locations).

  • Do you publish my information and lost item on the internet?

    We do not publish any information related to your lost item on our website or elsewhere. This is to protect your privacy.
